TLDR & TLDL: The weekend spike in Covid cases to a six-week high of 60 and the spread of cases over the weekend to Whangārei and Katikati has sparked calls from modeller Shaun Hendy for a ‘circuit-breaker’ lockdown in Auckland, while immunologist Rod Jackson wants harder borders for the lower half of the North Island and all of the South Island.
