Five things that mattered in 2021 as of ‘Gravy Day’, the 21st of December, featuring an end of year hoon with Interest.co.nz’s Jenee Tibshraeny and Stuff Political Editor Luke Malpass
Gravy video brought a tear. So much loss, so much separation, so many lovely people out there longing to be reunited before they get too old to travel, the babies are no longer babies, etc. In our case a family reunion (UK/Au/NZ) cancelled along with so much else due to That Virus. Then you look down at the charts, and remain grateful. Sort of.
I agree Beverley. It is a wonderful video to go with a timeless song. It is awfully tough for those missing loved ones. The sooner we can get everyone home safely the better.
But isn’t property the basis of all wealth, globally?
Basis, yes. But hopefully the sum of the parts becomes bigger than the basis. In NZ, all we have is the basis.
Thank you for your compelling round up (and your other pieces before this). I feel equipped for summer BBQ chats now!
