Absolutely the Reserve Bank have to stop underwriting profit making, no windfall tax, offshore private backs spot on Rodney Jones. That should be number one thing for Goverbnment to do along with reducing personal taxes much more and putting in adequate wealth taxes instead on Corporations like Fletchers and Aussie banks and the wealthy which have an unfair advantage over everyone else. Funding directly housing and infrastructure and our people’s well-being should be a priority. GDP is still such a blunt tool as is the inflation target linked to unemployment and pretty redundant as it doesn’t count the real costs to the country or people’s true work, contributions or productivity particularly womens. Moving to well-being such as GPI should also have been done by now also.
