Hi Bernard, I heard you speak at the Angel Conference about two weeks back. You gave the best speech I have ever heard. I have related it to many of my high net worth mates since (I am not not an HNW) and to a person they have said that they should paying a capital gains tax. Is there any chance you could email me your slides? Of is that is not possible then at least the slide from the Reserve Bank of England? andrew@tidalnz.co.nz - Andy West
Thanks Andy. That's very kind. I had a blast. Hopefully that's through to you now. Anyone else who wants it can just email me too. bernard@thekaka.co.nz
Wow just watched you on breakfast this morning, thank you for your insight & wisdom on our political economy I'm a political economic virgin (know nothing) every New Zealander should hear what you have to say, so all the best Bernard go hard Kia kaha.
Kia ora Bernard, like the comments below, i too watched Breakfast this morning, very enlightening korero, i think if the government are strong enough to introduce the Capital Gains Tax, how great would it be to see more homes available and accessible for all New Zealanders. 'He Kaka wahanui' this saying has many meaniings one of which applies to a person who is a great orator like the Kaka, kia kaha (Stay strong), kia maia (Be brave ), tukuna mai to korero, whakaaro hoki ki te ao (keep sending your words and thoughts to the world). Will be watching this space.
