Including the weekly hoon co-hosted by Peter Bale, plus Robert Patman, Finn Robinson & Susan St John on Chris Hipkins’ first week as PM, Germany’s Leopards on the move, soft CPI data & so much rain
History is against them winning the election with a change of leader at this point which has only been achieved once many decades ago. MMP may help broaden a potential coalition Government with more discussion. But can they all play nicely? Or be too woke for words running the usual culture war lines instead of the job. IE the laws and values of the land we already have? Instead of avoiding them and their duty of care and obligations to the public under Bill of Rights, Human and Legal Rights which are being failed abysmally and have for a long time. Certainly not just this incumbent Government. There are necessary unavoidable crises we’re all facing and then there are unnecessary manmade ones which need to stop.
That analysis shows how barefaced and terrible the stranglehold banks and the central bank enabled by ineffective tax policy by Government is. The last period has been Christmas and holidays traditionally. They really are indefensible.
Immigrants may expand the economy but we don’t have houses and adequate infrastructure (hospitals, transport, roads, schools etc)for the people we have and at adequate standards or adequate pay for people to pay for services they need privately getting responsibilities off Govt balance sheet which defeats the purpose of having a Government or paying tax at all. So that’s another silly and irresponsible argument for immigration.
