Let’s be realistic. There is so much vested interests in fossil fuel production & use, only when the planet is burning, floods washing houses & factories away, and sea rise is swamping islands and coastal cities will people become active against governments. In NZ people will take some notice when they can no longer insure their houses and have to move to expensive rentals because their homes are unliveable. With policy statements from COP that are so weak, what possible solutions are there now?
