Horrible and predictable how the poorest and most vulnerable (women and children) suffer the most and the loudest, richest and most powerful get all their needs and more met. Especially under a Labour Government. Despicable failure in duties of care all round. I bet they want to skive off from scrutiny in Parliament.

Just my take on the Pfizer situation is that to make sure whoever hasn't had their first shot and is willing to have the opportunity to get it asap. As with the second dose one has some 'window' that can be played out a week or two earning protection advantages of 6 plus weeks, but of course that depends on individual ability to isolate while not mitigate events such as a significant break out which we maybe be dealing in Auckland as dealing with Delta is liken to a splinted sorcerer apprentice broomstick. I suppose in the meanwhile we keep calm continue on with the stadium carpool events especially for individuals/households/workplaces which are more likely to be vulnerable, less likely to work remotely or able to isolate from other household members.

FOMO Politicians are tired of the limits and resembling a Brady Bunch tile in zoom calls aching to get back to the water cooler and fight club the only show in town. I guess that is only humanly understandable from the stance of hierarchy need of self actualisation. But setting an example of unprepared to test is never a good look and might chance Typhoid Mary ... Covid Collins or a shitshow game of 'Guess Who' when the fly my pretties descend from Auckland.
