I tried to find info about what it was when my Brother-in-law (dairy farmer) was moaning about it. Nothing. No explainer site, nothing, just a load of bits and pieces on various council sites. The comms on this has been near invisible. No surprise it's not well understood.
Interesting that my neighbour (who has a bore which I use from time to time in summer) may legally now have to regulate/test/certify her water, (maybe, I think thats what I could distill from the lack of documentation), because there are 3 houses (us, her, one other) who use it from time to time. Pretty sure that one will be ignored.
