Done. If you want a glimpse at the shite she has had to deal with, look at the "Updates" tab for the sort of things the bottom feeders still say about her on F/B.
Helen was magnificently clear with all the data presented in an unemotional manner. We need to all support the community housing sector as they are carrying the load expected of them by a government devoid of morality, or compassion. I found out her phone number and left a message thanking her for her commitment and clarity.
It is sobering to think that Helen carries so much of the pain and burden of a problem that belongs with us all. The answer is not more private charity, vital as that is short-term, but bipartisan acceptance that a thriving economy starts with adequate housing as a right. So I am hoping that a new government will immediately lift the pressure on the Auckland City Mission and make a fairer housing system a reality. If that requires more tax on wealthy people so be it
Catherine, you are too kind with your term 'double speak'. It's outright lies.
Good on you for calling it as it is. This Government is an Atlas government, absolutely nothing to do with business or people. It's all about extremely large business (global). I'm am so pleased that someone other than me and a few people on Reddit are starting to say this.
We need the message to be understood by everyone, integrity from our governments needs to be an election issue.

I agree with you in addition to Auckland Helen noted other cities which are also experiencing homeless issues as well.
