The Abuse in Care Royal Commission of Inquiry published its final report yesterday.
PM Christopher Luxon and The Minister responsible for coordinating the Crown Response to the Abuse in Care Inquiry, Erica Stanford, announced a formal acknowledgement of the 2,400 survivors who shared their experiences and Luxon gave a speech in Parliament.
Luxon and Stanford held a news conference about the release of the report in the Beehive Theatrette yesterday afternoon.
The Customer and Product Data Bill, which would create mandatory standards for companies gathering and sharing consumer data, had its first reading today, as recorded in Hansard.
Hawke's Bay Regional Council published the Hawke's Bay Independent Flood Review Panel's report on its investigation into the flooding in during Cyclone Gabrielle.
Perceptive and Sapien published the results of a monthly survey of New Zealanders, finding over 50% of those under 34 felt stressed, frustrated, and anxious in June, and that 48% are cutting back on spending.
