TLDR: An alliance of anti-poverty campaigners has called on the Government to proceed with internal discussions about forgiving the $3.5 billion in debt owed by one in ten New Zealanders to MSD, Inland Revenue and the Department of Justice, arguing its the single biggest move Labour could make to reduce poverty and stress.
