My guessing is that a few of those protesting in Australia are either in or connected to 'construction' industries. They feel punished, economically deprived. Why? ... they simply can't work from home and I believe this is the first time the Australian Government has barred construction work. So from a human perspective they are understandable reactive as they are stymied from blue middle class jobs and economies activity and Government subsidies may not cut mustard with higher over heads such as bridging monies, scaffolding or rented appliances aka cherry picker ... even though their protest is has consequences. Also it certainly doesn't help having a vaccine lottery situation of who gets what type of vaccine as if everyone can be choosey or the at least the same as everyone else so the collective negative sentiment is likely.

What appears to be found with Pfizer vaccine in studies is longterm immunity or 'memory' response where the T and B cell mechanism is taught to recognise and produce antibodies and although the antibodies circulating around the body do wane overtime. But importantly the learnt memory remains and also appears to be more uniformed than simply getting the virus out and about in the community where some might get a weak or strong response.

Although a hopeful path but incomplete world as we know the virus keeps evolves further and further from the first learned response and those ole T and B cells will eventually default to a response that no longer works thus imprinting or Original Antigenic Sin occurs. And now 'new' T and B cells will have to reinstate a relevant response or the populace will need to to either revaccinated unless the variant become less trouble where mass vaccination won't matter as much. Commonplace where we find ourselves in a world of 'living and dealing' as with the case of other viruses where we get from time to time or get the flu jab.

The first study was one I was aware sometime in March but it has also been supported by recent articles if you need to view.
