TLDR: PM Jacinda Ardern has announced Phase II of Aotearoa-NZ’s omicron plan will start from 11.59 pm tomorrow night (Tuesday Feb 15), which will shorten the self-isolation periods for both positive cases and close contacts, and allow essential workers exemptions from self-isolation rules if they have a negative RAT test and are asymptomatic.
